Hi, I'm McKenna - welcome to ¡Ven Conmigo! Here I'll be sharing my travel and food stories. I'm from Wisconsin, USA, currently working as an English teacher in Madrid, Spain which gives me the opportunity to travel often, eat a lot of amazing food, and share all of it with you!
¡Ven Conmigo! was inspired by my time here in Madrid, where I've tried some of my absolute favorite foods, found quaint and adorable cafes to frequent, and learned so much about the Spanish language and lifestyle. "Ven conmigo" translates to "come with me," and I thought this was perfect as I'd love for it to feel as though I am inviting you with me on these journeys. One of my biggest passions is helping people experience meaningful travel! Though the blog was greatly inspired by my experiences in Madrid, you will find posts from all my travels throughout Europe, the USA, and more.
